Jill's Journal: Sometimes the best-laid plans for a day go awry with three little girls and hours playing in the dirt turns out to be the perfect way to spend an afternoon instead. Little Miss Madelyn’s face and hands were completely caked in dirt today (as were her sisters’), but she was sure happy. These kids got scrubbed so hard in the shower tonight that my Grandma Ida would have been proud.

Little Girls and Dirt

Little Miss Madelyn’s face and hands were completely caked in dirt today (as were her sisters’), but she was sure happy. These kids got scrubbed so hard in the shower tonight that my Grandma Ida would have been proud.
A little dirt is a good thing! That's why they made washing machines! And you are right, Grandma Ida would be proud of you. She has a legacy and scrubbing everything in sight is one.
