Jill's Journal: The Northeast certainly gets its share of weather. We decided to stay housebound today, as a storm dumped 2-3” of rain in the area with winds up to 50mph. The rain started in the middle of the night and it poured and blew most of the day. There’s no sense in being out in that if we don’t have to. I don’t mind storms and I love “home days,” as the girls call them. They make for cozy days – plenty of school, lots of coloring and play, maybe even a movie for the girls; maybe some catching up on household things for me. In fact, I didn’t get near enough done…maybe it’ll rain again soon?

Housebound
