Splashes of Color

Jill's Journal: Last year at this time, we had the good fortune to be in Maine and Massachusetts. It was apparently a “light” year for the famed autumn splendor, but it was completely and thoroughly and stunningly glorious nonetheless.

We had zero expectations for fall foliage this year in the high desert of northern Nevada but we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the splashes of color we’ve seen. Take a look – all of these snapshots were taken this week. There’s beauty to be seen all over this great country of ours, isn’t there?
