But after much soul-searching and plenty of debate, Rob and I have decided it’s time to close up shop on this little corner in cyberspace. (And Rob may carry on at some point, but it’s unlikely I’ll continue to contribute in this space.) We started this blog as a record of our RV trip for our children to have someday. Since that chapter of our lives is coming to a reluctant-but-hopefully-not-permanent close, I could sure make good use of the hours upon hours of extra time not blogging affords a person. Maybe, instead of blogging during the precious hours the girls are sleeping, I can finally learn a new language. Or read a book. Or get a good night’s sleep. Or simply watch a movie. Or, you know, have a new baby in two months or so. :)
We want our kids to know what a magical life we’ve all led together over the past two+ years. It’s been wonderful in ways we never could have imagined. And our story is not over. We may be taking a hiatus to better situate ourselves financially, but we’re sure as heck not done traveling with our kids yet. There’s a whole world out there.
I think we gave this blog a valiant effort over the last two+ years on the road. We hope our kids will enjoy it someday and we hope you enjoyed it too. Thanks for reading. (And a very special, heartfelt thanks to the folks who have commented over the past two years; you have no idea how appreciated you are and how much your feedback encouraged us. Thank you.)

I will miss this glimpse into the life of a traveling family. You both did a wonderful job with articles and pictures. But I sure understand your decision, I'm sure it was a lot of work.
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us "stay at homes"!!!
Lots of love, MOM VP (AKA Beppy)
If I weren't so happy Robert were coming to work for us, I'd feel incredibly guilty right now! OK...I still feel a little guilty. I've enjoyed reading this every day, and know it will become a great book. Welcome to New Jersey. We'll be happy to have you all around.
Oh, I'll miss my morning fix. I loved being able to feel like I was still close to you! I'm sure it's a lot of work though!
I may even see about coming to visit you in that state I was born in. MAYBE. =)
Love all 6 of you!
Your story is most certainly not over! And I can just imagine all the trips you will be making as we have that in our mind too!! We are so excited that we will be able to see you now that we too are moving to NJ and guess what, we have an equestrian center at the winery with lessons! Let us know when you get a chance what general area you are planning on settling too....safe travels and thank you ever so much for the beautiful journey you traveled, the amazing photos and story of a loving family you generously shared with us...it has been an awesome ride! Here's to the next leg of the journey, heck I feel I must break out the mimosa's for you!! :-)
Missing your updates already! You should start a new one about life staying put! Hope you guys can come to VA soon - or we will have to come up!

It has been wonderful following your adventures around this great nation of ours. I have learned quite a bit from your postings - things or places I would not even be aware of had it not been for this journal of your travels. Thank you for a great educational experience which I hope the girls will always treasure.
Thanks so much, everyone, for all of your very kind words. You are appreciated!

Congratulations on your travels and storytelling and best wishes in your new stomping grounds in New Jersey. See you in a couple months!
I loved this blog. I have been using it as my own personal travel book. Oh, the places you've been.
Congrats on the new chapter in your lives. Your family will always have fun and learn and love. How can you not? You are all wonderful people. (=
I'll miss the tales as well. I liked checking in at night to see where you had been the day before. Please, at least post some milestones on here from time to time. (Birthdays, especially the zero birthday, special trips, etc.) I will look forward to the day when you can travel free again.
I'm gonna miss your blog, my friend (even thought I'm WAY behind on it!). Does this mine you'll spend a few extra minutes on Facebook, at least? ;-)
Love you guys! And can't wait the new little Williams!

It's been such fun following where you are and where you've been. I've learned so much from all the great information you've provided about the places you've seen. Makes me feel like I was there. Keep us updated on those East Coast trips! Best of luck in New Jersey.
I just heard about Blurb.com, it can turn this blog into a BOOK! You may like that for the girls later on...:-)
We are soooo glad that we got to visit with you on this grand adventure. And thrilled that we get to experience the next chapter in our own neck of the woods--a baby on each coast! I agree, we'd LOVE to see when the new little one joins the ranks of your sweet family...
In the meantime, keep in touch, friend. Hugs from our boys to your girls.
I can't believe that this chapter is finished. It's exciting to see what God has in store for your future. Kevin and I love you all.
