Jill's Journal: Two summers ago, Beppy, Kristi, and I had taken an afternoon out and had all gone to get a pedicure during one of Beppy’s visits to Kentucky. The girls were all fascinated by our “pretty toes” when we returned and Erika especially thought that sounded like the neatest thing in the world to do. Beppy promised her when she was a little older, she’d take her too. Seven must be the magic age, because that time arrived.
Erika was a little anxious at the beginning…
…but soon relaxed.
Really relaxed.
Three sets of pretty toes. Thank you, Beppy! Erika’s sisters now can’t wait until they, too, turn seven and can have their own sets of pretty toes.

Happy Birthday Erika from Uncle Kim and Aunt Julie! Aunt Julie sure wishes she could've joined you for a pedicure on your birthday! I want a flower on my toe too!
