And This is How it Happens…

Jill's Journal: Rob and I absolutely love planning our next stops on this journey. All we need is an evening, a map, a cell coverage app (for Rob’s work), and some wine. This particular bottle of wine helped us plan the next two months!

Do tell!!! Where are you off too?!?! Ok, so you MAY want to get an updated Atlas, change does happen, lol I am so anxious to move, this is the longest place I have been! We are thinking NY next...

NY?? Ooooh, so exciting! The city? Or elsewhere?

I wondered if anyone would notice that we have an outdated atlas!! Too funny. But I love this one -- it's like an old friend. Plus it's all marked up and beaten up and has taken us everywhere we've gone so far on this journey, so I'm hesitant to trade it in for a newer model.

And, to answer your other question, we are off to finish our tour of Oregon! We're moving every 3-4 days for the next few weeks as we wind our way around this unexpectedly wonderful state! Our last stop will be Crater Lake, which we tried to visit in June but couldn't fully get to due to roads closed for snow. We're skipping Washington on this go-round...there just aren't enough warm weather months for all the "northern" places we want to visit! We've got several "cold" places to get to (i.e. Yosemite) before snow sets in.

My best friend is moving there next month from CA, my dear friend with MS is there (she's like a mom) two sets of cousins and just found out another friend from SF is moving there...plus lots more direct cheaper flights to Ireland/CA There is another retreat center just outside the city looking at Gerry. He would get to more retreat work and none of the administration which he is terrible at he will admit, lol, since I DO IT! :-)

I say stick with the atlas, it has goodluck attached by this point! It will be an even greater memory in the future.

Wow, you are really doing Oregon! I haven't even in been to Crater Lake...I think...hmmm haha. Washington is alot like SF, so you aren't missing too much. My brother lives in Yakima. There is a beautiful Greek Orthodox Monastery on the way (probably forgot to mention I was raised both Greek O and C as I am half Greek) The snow has been crazy this year.....

The Nugents are headed to Crater Lake the second week of August for our family vacation!! Will you still be in the area?? If so, we must get together! I'll have more details by this time next week, as i will be planning our road trip. I may have to piggy back some of the exciting places you will visit! :)
