Jill's Journal: Chalk up another benefit to homeschooling…younger siblings get to participate in ice-melting science experiments, which keeps them entertained and teaches them concepts way early. Sometimes it surprises me how much the little ones have learned just by osmosis (well, that, and by participating in science experiments!).
The girls have a slew of pocket-sized Disney princesses. I nearly tripped over Madelyn’s little wardrobe arrangement today, but was glad it stayed intact because it was too cute not to snap a picture. She’s the least orderly/organizational-minded of our three, so for her to come up with this on her own was quite noteworthy!
Swordplay with foam sticks (I’m sure they have a technical name, but they look like foam sticks to me)…what day isn’t improved by a little swordplay when you’re a kid?
