Seasons, by Erika

Jill's Journal: This little poem written by Erika about the seasons, an assignment in her language arts class, just absolutely tickles me. I had to share:

Seasons

In spring babies are born,
And so are plants, plus corn.
In summer swimming is the best,
Some kids stay up late, why don’t they get their rest?
In fall is Thanksgiving – food galore,
It also has no insects trying to get in the door.
In winter their (sic) is snow and ice,
Tho (sic) I wonder what happens to the mice?

That's some of the best poetry I've read--I can see just what she's trying to say, unlike some of those "professional" people! I think this girl may have a future...

Thanks ladies! She absolutely hates writing assignments, but she had fun with this one and I just love the result. :)
