Quiet Time

Jill's Journal: Does it always rain this much in the northern part of Central California? I think it’s unusual, but my goodness, we’ve seen a crazy amount of rain in the last few months. The girls and I had planned to go to San Jose today, but driving on busy freeways in the rain is something I like to avoid if I can... And today I could, so I did.

It turned out to be the perfect day for a little extra quiet time. Victoria was so engrossed in her book she didn’t even notice me snapping her picture.
