The Big Four!

Jill's Journal: There was a birthday girl in the house today! After days, weeks, and months of anticipation, our little Victoria turned four. She is so eager to grow up and we’re pretty certain she’s really closer in age to seven than she is to four. To give an example, we spotted the unusual sight of a car on fire in a parking lot as we were driving today. She piped up, “Why is it on fire? Did a sign fall on it? Is it an electrical fire or a controlled fire?” WHAT? Where did you even hear those terms, child?

She clearly keeps us on our toes.

Victoria had a super birthday. There were presents. They were wrapped in wrapping paper (she was very concerned ahead of time that there be wrapping paper, not that she’s ever opened a birthday present without wrapping paper!). There was cake. And there was a water park. The water park – Raging Waters – was crazy. It was insanely busy, but we still had a great time. The birthday girl most of all.

Happy Birthday to our littlest sweet pea. Please stop growing up so fast!

Oh my goodness! I JUST saw this and we sent off a package today :-( I will be sure to tell Detta in the morning. Funny enough Detta wanted to send her something she made at school last year that is very precious to her, so I was surprised! So, that was instinct...Happy Birthday Victoria and to her parents!! Love, Murphy Family

Great pictures Victoria I will use one of them in my screen saver pictures of all you girls. Don't grow up to fast little girl, being an adult lasts a very long time and isn't as much fun as being a child.

I must comment, if only for posterity. The girls don't know what this means yet, but at the water park today was one of only maybe 3 times in the last couple of years that I turned my phone off and left it in the car. And yes, it was great. :)
