Bowling Green

Jill's Journal: No significant sightseeing today as we have lots on tap in the coming days, but we did spend an afternoon shopping in nearby Bowling Green. Rob quite enjoyed himself at Camping World and another big outdoors store, picking up things I would have no idea what to do with like tire pressure supplies, water tank valves, etc. I’m just happy to say we finally have what every camper needs: a barbeque! It’ll be nice to move some of the cooking outside starting tomorrow.

We’ve briefly been to Bowling Green previously for a visit to the Corvette factory and museum there. The city is also known as the home of the late Duncan Hines (the man behind the cake mixes, not the actual factory that produces them).

I had to share this picture of Victoria from the decoy section of the outdoors store. She was having quite a time! I’ll bet not too many hunting decoys have kissed and spoken in fanciful little girl voices about their pretty wings. :)
