Jill's Journal: While petting a fellow camper’s dog, my wise 6-year-old noted:
“Nice dogs are usually owned by nice people.”
There’s a lot of truth in that!
She went on to tell me that nice dogs are that way because they’re treated well by their owners, and people who treat their animals well are generally good people.
Sometimes the simple wisdom of children amazes me.
